The Fresno Fire Department (FFD) has served the community with pride since 1877. We are one of the most innovative and progressive fire departments in the nation, guided by our mission to protect and put service above all else, our core values of teamwork, trust, and commitment, and our vision of being recognized as a standard of excellence in the fire service.

With 20 stations across our community, we provide full-time fire suppression, fire prevention, urban search and rescue, hazardous material response, and airport firefighting capabilities.
