A Culture of Excellence Where People Get the Best Everyday

Ashley Swearengin
Mayor
It's my pleasure to welcome you to the official website for the City of Fresno. I'm extremely proud to be Mayor of California's fifth largest city, home to strong neighborhoods, good schools, beautiful parks, vibrant culture, and a rich entrepreneurial spirit. And, let's not forget that Fresno boasts over 300 days of sunshine each year – which blesses us with one of the best year 'round climates for outdoor activities anywhere in the country.

I hope you'll take the time to learn more about our community and the exciting opportunities that await you here. Whether you're a resident or a visitor, I think you'll find that the city of Fresno has much to offer.

Sincerely,
