Before she was driving fire trucks for the Fresno Fire Department, Christine Wilson was a teacher. Now, she leads youth programs and works to inspire the next generation of firefighters!

Police vehicles have to be cared for just like any other car, and Noel Andalon is part of the team that the Fresno Police Department trusts to keep them on the road. “We keep them safe in the car, and they keep us safe in the streets,” Noel said.

It takes a team to make sure an airport’s runway is safe, and David Cain helps lead that team at Fresno Yosemite International Airport! One of his jobs is painting the ground markings that pilots use to see where they are on the runway. He also just celebrated 30 years working for the city!

After nearly 30 years with the City of Fresno and the last 10 years as a lead custodian at Fresno Yosemite International Airport, John Ochoa has done it all! He also just announced his retirement! Thank you for your work John!

This week is National Public Safety Telecommunications Week, so we’re celebrating Lorin Moore – who has served Fresno as a dispatcher for 40 YEARS!

Jose Cano, a Housing Rehabilitation Specialist with the City of Fresno, helps lead two federally-funded programs that help low-income seniors repair and paint their homes (at no cost to the homeowner).

Joseph D’Amelio has been working on the traffic signal team for more than a decade, and he’s vital to keeping traffic flowing in Fresno.
