Groundbreaking ceremony for the Peach Avenue Widening Project. This phase of the project will widen Peach Avenue between Butler and Florence Avenues from a two-lane roadway to a four-lane divided arterial with median landscaping, curb, gutter, sidewalk, and streetlights. The project will also include the installation of new traffic signal facilities at Peach and Hamilton, improvements to the railroad crossing, water distribution, sanitary sewers, roadway pavement sections, and bike lanes.
