One-Time Bulky Item Pickup

One-Time Bulky Item Pickup

The One-Time Bulky Item Pickup program provides customers the opportunity to dispose of single bulky items that are too large to fit in the City-issued Green, Gray, or Blue solid waste carts. This program is available once a year at no extra cost to City of Fresno residential solid waste customers. Customers are eligible to participate only if their account is in good standing and if it has been more than one year since their most recent bulky item pickup.

Eligible residents are asked to call the City of Fresno 311 Center by dialing 3-1-1, (559) 621-CITY (2489), or use the FresGO mobile app to request a bulky-item pickup. Customers will receive a call from Solid Waste within seven (7) business days to confirm a pickup date. Customers will be instructed to place their item out at the curb no more than 36 hours before their scheduled date.

The One-Time Bulky Item Pickup is available once in a one-year period, per account at no additional cost. Additional pickups within a one-year period will be treated as Special Haul and assessed an additional fee as outlined in the Master Fee Schedule.

Solid Waste will only pick up the bulky item from residents who have requested the One-Time Bulky Item Pickup service. All other debris piles will be considered illegal dumping and cited accordingly.

Guidelines
