This is without a doubt, one of the very best thing any citizen of Fresno should attend. The information and education I learned was priceless. You learn most aspects of the Police Department. And every week is a new and very educational experience Fresno’s finest do for us. I recommend every citizen become informed by attending these classes. You will not regret it.

This was an unbelievably positive experience, I did not expect to learn as much as I did, from day 1 seeing only the badge and the uniform to now seeing the people and the struggles police officers go through, I’m hoping to volunteer with the chaplaincy at some point, something I would not have considered prior to this class. K9 unit was my top favorite (but then again, hard to compete with those dogs). Thank you and all the volunteers for this wonderful experience!

Classes meet once a week for 18 weeks from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Upon successful completion of the 18 weeks, community members have the opportunity to sign up for our Citizen on Patrol Volunteer program. The classes are held at a predetermined location within the City of Fresno.
