This week on ‘We Work For You’, we’re highlighting Kayla Garcia-Shields! She’s a Program Manager with the PARCS Department, and one of the programs she oversees is the popular Aquatics Program. Through this program, the City is able to offer recreational swimming, senior aerobics classes, free swim lessons for Fresno kids, and more – and Kayla oversees the team that makes it happen. She started with the City nearly 16 years ago and says she pursued a career with PARCS after seeing how big an impact the department has on the community.
