As Chief of Staff, Leefong manages the daily operations of the Councilmember’s office, including staff coordination, scheduling, and preparation of City Council agendas. He serves as the Councilmember’s senior advisor, providing guidance on policy initiatives and legislative priorities, while also overseeing constituent services to ensure community concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.

In addition, Leefong represents the Councilmember at meetings and public events, coordinates communication with City Departments and external stakeholders, and supports collaboration with other elected officials. By supervising office staff, managing communications, and fostering strong relationships with community organizations, he helps maintain an efficient, responsive, and transparent office that serves the residents of District 5.

As Deputy Chief of Staff, Carmen supports office operations by assisting with staff management, scheduling, agenda preparation, and financial administration, as well as helping coordinate a variety of community events. She ensures the success of District-sponsored activities and outreach efforts through detailed planning, effective volunteer coordination, and strong strategic partnerships.

As District Director, Anahi serves as the primary point of contact for District residents, overseeing community outreach and constituent services, coordinating district events and meetings, and working directly with City Departments and community organizations to resolve concerns and keep residents informed about City services, programs, and key District updates.

As Communications Director, Atlantida manages media relations, public messaging, and the Councilmember’s official social media pages. She oversees digital content, public announcements, and outreach efforts to ensure residents receive clear, timely, and accurate information about District updates, events, and available City services.
