Immigration Resources

Reducing Risk

Do not run, and keep your hands where an agent can see them. Do not lie about your status or provide any false documents. If you are over 18, do your best to carry some sort of papers/identification with you for your safety. It is also recommended to keep a copy of your documents with someone you trust. Have your immigration “A” number shared with your family. If there is any detainment, this number will help family members locate you. Have a plan.
