Cooling and Warming Center Policy
City of Fresno Ordinance # 2022-212 requires that the City operate four community centers as warming and cooling centers according to the requirements set forth in the ordinance. The determination to open Centers is made according to the forecast issued by the National Weather Service’s San Joaquin Valley Office, which can be viewed at https://www.wrh.noaa.gov/hnx/getprod.php?pil=sft&sid=hnx
The city’s FAX bus system will provide free transportation along normal routes to the following facilities when operated as warming or cooling centers. Click here to view FAX Bus Schedules

- 2. Ted C. Wills Community Center, 770 N. San Pablo
- 3. Mosqueda Community Center, 4670 E. Butler
- 4. Pinedale Community Center, 7170 N. San Pablo
