Energy Efficiency Grant Program Interest Form

FUNDING:

Funding is available in the form of a 75% matching grant – up to $15,000, to assist struggling locally owned restaurants in reducing their ongoing energy-related costs.  

Funds will help cover costs related to energy audits, identified upgrades, and retrofits including, but not limited to, insulation enhancements, equipment upgrades, lighting and HVAC system improvements. 

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: 

  • City of Fresno location
  • Current Business Tax Certificate 
  • Locally owned 
  • Not a national chain or franchise
  • Existing brick and mortar restaurant
    • Open for at least six months at current location

HOW TO APPLY/EXPRESS INTEREST: 

Business must first complete interest/eligibility form specifying:

  • Business & owner name
  • Address
  • Statement of Need
  • Rent or own building
  • List of other locations (if applicable)
    • If applying for multiple locations, each location will require a separate interest form and priority ranking

Interest Forms will be accepted until all funding has been exhausted
