Independence Day Schedule for City of Fresno Offices, Services
Fresno, CA – City of Fresno offices will be closed in observance of the Independence Day holiday on Thursday, July 4. Normal operations will resume on Friday, July 5. Please see the list below for details.

Airports: Administrative offices closed. Terminal, concessions and airlines normal operations otherwise.

City Clerk’s Office: Closed.

City Hall Offices: Closed.

Fire/Police Departments: Offices and public counters will be closed. Normal operations otherwise.

Fresno Area Express: Offices closed. Buses will operate on weekend schedules. FAX route maps and schedules are available on the City’s website here.

Development and Resource Management: Closed.

Parking Division: No enforcement at parking meters and City parking facilities on July 4. Office closed for citation payments on July 4.

Parks and Recreation (PARCS): Offices closed. Parks and neighborhood centers will be open July 4. No senior hot meals will be available.

Personnel: Closed. Online applications accepted at

Public Utilities: Offices closed.

Public Works: Offices closed.

Residential Solid Waste: The City will provide regular residential waste collection service on July 4. The once-a-week collection of residential trash, recyclables and green waste will remain on its original service schedule. Business office will be closed. Utility Payments Offices: Payment counters closed. Online and phone transactions available for utility payments.
