12/04/13  Winter Watering Schedule Underway
FRESNO - The winter watering schedule is now in effect for all City of Fresno water customers. The City of Fresno's Department of Public Utilities Water Division requires all City customers to conduct outside watering on the following times and days:ODD Numbered Addresses:(Addresses that end in 1, 3, 5, 7, 9)SATURDAYS ONLYEVEN Numbered Addresses:(Addressed that end in 0, 2, 4, 6, 8)SUNDAYS ONLYWATERING TIMES: ANYTIME DURING APPROVED WATER DAYThe winter watering schedule begins on December 1 of each year and runs through March 1 to avoid unnecessary over watering. The New York Times last week presented an unfair and inaccurate portrayal of the City of Fresno in an article about the “Bulldog” gang. The article was so flawed that I submitted the following rebuttal to the New York Times. The Times has decided not to publish the op-ed. >more
