FRESNO – Calling it a “jobs win” for Fresno, Mayor Ashley Swearengin said that Chino-based Alorica, a global leader in customer contact management solutions, will expand their operations in Fresno and create an additional 200 jobs.

“Alorica’s decision to expand here is a real jobs win for Fresno,” Mayor Swearengin said. “Alorica has made a solid investment in Fresno’s future and a commitment to our community that will have a positive impact on our economy.”

The new Alorica call center will be located in Fresno at 5104 N. Blythe Avenue. Alorica will be hiring for customer service positions, team manager jobs (supervisory roles) and other support positions. The company plans to start a new hire training class about every other week on average beginning in June. All local contractors will be used in the construction work on the building renovation.

Alorica currently employs about 500 workers at its Clovis facility. Those workers will be transferred to the Fresno facility, along with the 200 new positions being added.

“We are excited about our new location and are pleased about the continued success and performance from our employee team,” added John Foulk, Alorica’s site director. “Alorica believes in creating opportunity for our people, our clients, and the communities in which we reside.”
