Charter Review Commission Releases Report
Fresno, CA – The nine-member City of Fresno Charter Review Commission has released a report containing its recommendations on more than 50 items it considered during a six-month-plus study of the City’s Charter.
The report includes the Commission’s recommendations on 23 Council-suggested charter revisions and more than 30 other policy suggestions that were offered during the course of its deliberations.
The Commission, formed by a City Council vote in November 2010, met at least every month from July 26, 2010, to February 7, 2012, to consider the issues.
