New Fresno Area Express Transit Fares Take Effect January 10

New fares for Fresno Area Express (FAX) bus service and Handy Ride service will go into effect on Monday, January 10. The one-way cash fare for FAX will be $1.25 per trip while the cost for a FAX monthly pass, good for unlimited trips on the system, will be $48. The FAX Handy Ride fare will be $1.50 while a multi-ride monthly pass, valid for 60 one-way trips, will be available for $48.

The last adjustment to fares for Fresno Area Express bus service occurred in 2001 while the last adjustment to FAX Handy Ride fares took place in 1990.
