City of Fresno Waste Tire Amnesty Day Events

The City of Fresno Code Enforcement Division, with grant funding available from the California Integrated Waste Management Board, will be holding two Waste Tire Amnesty Day events on Saturday allowing City residents to part with their unwanted waste tires.
Only City of Fresno residents may participate in the events, and each resident is limited to nine tires. The City will NOT accept tractor or diesel tires or business-generated tires. Rim tires are accepted.
Each resident will need to provide ID showing Fresno City residency.
Date: Saturday, June 11, 2011
Time: 8 a.m. to noon
Place: Hoover High School, 5550 N. First Street
Edison High School, 540 E. California
Tires from this event will be taken to a tire recycling plant. Thank you for keeping Fresno clean and safe.
