City of Fresno Schedules Waste Tire Amnesty Day

The City of Fresno Code Enforcement Division, using grant funding available from the California Integrated Waste Management Board, will be holding a Waste Tire Amnesty Day event allowing City of Fresno citizens to part with their unwanted waste tires.

Participants must be City of Fresno residents, and each resident is limited to nine tires. No tractor, diesel or business-generated tires will be permitted. Rim tires are accepted.

Each resident will need to provide identification showing City of Fresno residency.

Date: Saturday, April 10

Time: 8 a.m. to noon

Place: Edison High School, 540 E. California Ave.

Tires from this event will be taken to a tire recycling plant.
