Fresno To Host BMX All American Nationals Competition At Woodward Park This Weekend

BMX athletes from across the country and around the world will converge on Fresno this weekend as the National Bicycle League (NBL) Elite All American Nationals will take place at the City of Fresno bike complex at Woodward Park this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

This weekend’s race is a national qualifying event for NBL professionals and amateurs who compete all year in the point standings race. More than 400 riders are expected to participate in both amateur and pro classes. NBL officials expect the ‘cream of the crop’ to come out, including 2008 Beijing Olympic medalists and several All American pro’s.

In addition, the NBL has coordinated a Future Stars Pre-National Clinic designed to allow riders of all ages and ability to focus on confidence, dial in their skills and learn the track’s fastest lines to help put them at the front of the pack. The clinic is Friday, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the track.
