Fresno Yosemite International Airport To Carry On A Holiday Tradition

A long-standing Christmas tradition of breath-taking, lighted, uniquely decorated Christmas trees will be on display at Fresno Yosemite International Airport during the entire month of December.

Twelve Christmas trees will adorn the Airport terminal lobby; each decorated to highlight a specific travel destination, including a tree that pays tribute to our military. The trees represent the diversity of world travel and are sponsored by local businesses, individuals, and agencies that have a connection with a particular destination. In addition to the Christmas trees there will be live holiday entertainment during peak travel periods, a lighted Victorian Christmas village, and surprise visits from Santa Claus.

“Hosting Christmas at the Airport is a great opportunity to continue a long-held tradition for the region. We are happy to celebrate the spirit of the season with the community and invite everyone to view the display,” said Russ Widmar, Director of Aviation.

No admission will be charged to view the display. Parking is available in Airport lots for as little as $3 an hour and visitors are encouraged to bring a carload of family and friends to enjoy the festivities.

Dates and times for live performances will be posted on the Airport’s website at and click on the Christmas logo.
