Applicants Sought for Disability Advisory Commission

The City of Fresno is seeking applications to fill a vacancy on its Disability Advisory Commission (DAC). The DAC addresses issues affecting persons with disabilities and advises the Mayor, City Council, City Boards, Commissions, Committees, and staff on public policy matters. It also facilitates citizen input and serves as an information resource to people with disabilities.

Applicants must be residents of the City of Fresno or executive staff members representing (non-City) governmental or nonprofit agencies serving people with disabilities in the City of Fresno. Commission members are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by City Council for two-year terms. DAC meetings are held on the second Monday of each month, from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Fresno City Hall
