01/15/08 City Seeks To Create Formal Commission For The Disabled

The City of Fresno is working to establish a formal advisory commission to represent the needs and concerns of our disabled community. Once developed, the Fresno Disability Advisory Commission (FDAC) will work to apprise the City on quality of life issues such as infrastructure enhancement, housing, communication, transportation and other issues as they arise. The newly developed Commission will be comprised of a broad base of representatives from the disabled community including individuals who advocate for disabled services and quality of life issues. >more
