01/15/08 Statement By Mayor Autry Regarding Year End Crime Statistics
Mayor Autry provided the following statement regarding the latest crime statistics released today by the Fresno Police Department: “Public Safety is the overriding responsibility of City government. Today’s good news regarding year end crime statistics is a result of a total team effort. Chief Dyer, the Police Department and the entire community should be commended for a job well done.

01/15/08 City Seeks To Create Formal Commission For The Disabled
The City of Fresno is working to establish a formal advisory commission to represent the needs and concerns of our disabled community. Once developed, the Fresno Disability Advisory Commission (FDAC) will work to apprise the City on quality of life issues such as infrastructure enhancement, housing, communication, transportation and other issues as they arise. The newly developed Commission will be comprised of a broad base of representatives from the disabled community including individuals who advocate for disabled services and quality of life issues.
