| With the Valley coming up on the worst season for air quality, the City of Fresno, Department of Transportation/Fresno Area Express (FAX) has teamed with Shuttlebugz to provide easy and fun transportation in the Downtown Area. The interim pilot program began on Monday, May 14, 2007, in the downtown triangle bordered by Freeways 99, 180, and 41. Shuttlebugz are bicycle taxis that can shuttle people (two to three per unit) around the downtown area. >more |

| City of Fresno One Call Center proves an effective tool in providing a quick response to questions regarding City services to residents. In an effort to improve services to City residents, the One Call Center was initiated in February, 2006. City representatives are standing by to provide answers to questions on everything from their utility bill or a request for graffiti removal. >more |
