The City Of Fresno Enhances Free Trolley Service For Midday Customers In The Downtown Area
The City of Fresno Department of Transportation/Fresno Area Express (FAX) is providing more stops, more choices, and greater convenience on its free Midday Trolley service to enhance customer service.
Beginning Monday, March 12, 2007, the Midday Trolley stops at five additional locations along its route to add convenience when traveling between downtown destinations such as Courthouse Park, the Galleria, City Hall, Amtrak Station, Convention Center, Fulton Mall, and area restaurants. The Midday Trolley operates in Downtown Fresno weekdays from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on 10-minutes intervals.
To kick-off the enhanced Midday Trolley service, FAX, is offering an incentive to ride the trolley. Visit any participating Downtown restaurant, and receive a Midday Trolley voucher. Next, ride the Midday Trolley, have the voucher validated, then present the validated voucher to any participating Downtown restaurant by April 30, 2007, and receive $2.00 off any purchase of $4.00 or more.
Director of Transportation, Ken Hamm stated, “The Midday Trolley service is an investment in Downtown Fresno, and we are excited to offer midday patrons an even greater level of transportation service. Hop on, hop off. It’s free and convenient.”
FAX would like to acknowledge the Downtown Association of Fresno for its continued support of the Midday Trolley service.
