Special Council Meeting Requested to Discuss PGA Tournament

The purpose of the special meeting of the City Council is to meet and consider directing City Staff to return to Council with an amendment appropriating $1.2 million of General Fund dollars for the PGA Veteran’s Champion Golf Tournament. The amendment will be contingent upon an agreement with the PGA for a minimum of a five year commitment and a matching grant of $1.2 million dollars or greater amount raised from the private sector.
