Business Matchmaking and Networking

Millions of dollars are spent each year by large companies and government agencies on goods and services that could be purchased from local small businesses. The City of Fresno Economic Development Department will launch the Inaugural Business Matchmaking and Networking event tomorrow with the goal of keeping these important dollars local.

WHAT:
One-on-one meetings scheduled between supplier and procurement representatives will take place throughout the day. Exhibit booths staffed by representatives from 28 large companies and government entities and 12 nonprofits will provide networking opportunities, tips and resources for small business representatives.

WHEN: Friday, August 31, 2007, 8:30am – 5pm

WHERE: Fresno Exhibit Hall

WHO:
Buyers from 28 large companies and government entities such as PG&E, AT&T, California Highway Patrol, State Farm Insurance and U.S. Army Corp of Engineers.

NOTE: Registration or exhibit booth opportunities are still available through noon, August 31. Cost is $89 per company which includes up to two representatives.
