Jeff Eben Joins Team Fresno As Deputy Mayor

Today Mayor Autry and City Manager Andy Souza announced the appointment of Jeff Eben as Deputy Mayor for the City of Fresno.

Eben is an educator, an accomplished writer, and has won numerous awards in the field of education. Just prior to accepting this appointment, Eben served briefly as Director of the Older Adult Program at Clovis Adult School. With 27 years as a coach, teacher, and administrator, Eben most recently served as Principal at Clovis East High School, a State Distinguished School, and as Principal at Fort Washington Elementary School, both a State Distinguished and a National Blue Ribbon School.

“We are pleased and privileged to have Jeff join us as a member of Team Fresno. His leadership skills are extraordinary and he will be a big part of moving our City forward,” commented Mayor Autry.

Eben will be working with the City Manager to bring a variety of the Mayor’s projects and initiatives to completion, including the River Walk, Downtown Revitalization, and further implementation of the New Normal throughout the City of Fresno.
