City Seeks Blankets to Provide Warmth During The Extreme Cold
01/11/2007

As temperatures drop below the thirty degree mark, the City of Fresno Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department (PRCS) will continue to open and operate City Community Centers as Warming Centers for our homeless and indigent population.

PRCS would like to extend the request for blanket donations to serve those individuals utilizing the City’s Warming Centers. Blanket donations can be delivered to the Frank H. Ball Community Center located at 760 Mayor Avenue.
Once again, residents can take advantage of any of the following Warming Center sites from 7:00pm until 7:00am:

  • Frank H. Ball, 760 Mayor Avenue (Inyo and A), Fresno
  • Mosqueda Community Center, 4670 E. Butler (Butler & Maple Avenues), Fresno
  • Pinedale Community Center, 7170 N. San Pablo (SE corner of Spruce and San Pablo), Pinedale
