Amy Arambula Joins Team Fresno As Education Liaison

Consistent with our mission to provide equal access to opportunity, education and quality of life for every man, woman and child, the City is pleased to announce Amy Arambula has been hired as the Education Liaison for the City.

Ms. Arambula is a skilled professional with years of policy analysis experience, emphasizing education issues. Amy has a Juris Doctor from San Joaquin College of law and is a member of the California Bar. Most recently, Ms. Arambula has been working as a Legislative Aide in both Fresno and Sacramento. In that role, she has worked closely with Fresno Unified School District and other districts in the Central Valley on education policy initiatives and is well versed on local education challenges and opportunities. Previous to her work as a Legislative Aide, Amy had a successful law career covering issues such as employment and family law.

Mayor Autry stated, “I am extremely excited that Amy Arambula has agreed to become the new Education Advocate to head up the City of Fresno’s Office of Education. We are extremely blessed to have someone who understands that we cannot have a quality City without quality education opportunities for all.”
