City Of Fresno Supports Unique Alternative To Downtown Transportation
07/30/2006

(FRESNO , CA June 30, 2006) - Shuttlebugz brings a unique mode of transportation to Fresno’s downtown area as they unveil their fleet of pedi cabs on Monday, July 3, 2006 at 10:00am at Fresno’s downtown Fulton Mall at the Clock Tower free speech area at Fulton and Mariposa.

Although the pedi cab concept is new to Fresno, this convenient, environmentally friendly mode of transportation has been used in major cities all over the world to shuttle people around to various venues of entertainment and activity in downtown areas.

Shuttlebugz owner, Joe Burke stated, “I’m pleased and excited to provide a service unique to our City that will also work to improve our air quality”. The cost of the Suttlebugz service runs on tips from riders. Opportunities are available to support this entrepreneurial adventure by advertising your business or service on the back of the mobile units.

As the City continues to concentrate on efforts to revitalize the downtown area, Shuttlebugz will certainly add to the fun and excitement for those wishing to park and participate in all that the downtown area has to offer.
