Waste Tire Amnesty Day Program Event at Calwa Park

FRESNO , CA ( September 2, 2005) – The City of Fresno Code Enforcement Waste Tire team will be conducting the fourth “Waste Tire Amnesty Day Program” event, which is paid for with a grant from California Integrated Waste Management Board.

Date: Saturday September 10, 2005

Time: 8:00am-1:00pm

Location: Calwa Park
4545 East Church Ave.

Target Area: (N/S) California to North &
(W/E) Clovis to Temperance Ave.

Requirements :

  • Residents within the focus area will be mailed cards for disposing of up to 6 tires for free with proof of residency.
  • All other residents will be allowed to dispose of tires for a fee of $1.
  • No tractor or diesel tires will be allowed. This event will be for residents only and no businesses will be allowed.
