Perea Welcomes Miss California Contestants

Fresno, CA (June 22, 2007) On Saturday, June 23rd, Council President Henry T. Perea will welcome the contestants for the Miss California crown as well as the current Miss California. This is the second year that Perea has participated in the gift exchange and is excited to be involved again.
“These 50 young women represent the best qualities of young Californians. They are bright, articulate, hard working and talented. I am thrilled to represent the City of Fresno in welcoming such a diverse group of women.”
The gift exchange will take place at 10:30 AM at City Hall.
