Local Nightclub Fire Ruled Arson

Fresno, CA (April 15, 2008) – On April 14, 2008 at 6:38 a.m. Fresno Fire firefighters responded to 708 N. Blackstone (Déjà Vu Nightclub). Upon arrival fast acting fire crews found smoke and flames coming from the west side of the business and extinguished the fire. Arson investigators reviewed surveillance video showing a male individual in the area it ignited. This individual is a person of interest for the Fresno Fire Department and this incident is considered arson.
