Mayor's Staff
Jeff Eben Deputy Mayor
As Deputy Mayor, Jeff Eben is assigned by the City Manager to bring a variety of the Mayor’s projects and initiatives to completion, including the River Walk, Downtown Revitalization, and further implementation of the New Normal throughout the City of Fresno.
Eben is an educator, an accomplished writer, and has won numerous awards in the field of education. Just prior to accepting this appointment, Eben served briefly as Director of the Older Adult Program at Clovis Adult School. With 27 years as a coach, teacher, and administrator, Eben most recently served as Principal at Clovis East High School, a State Distinguished School, and as Principal at Fort Washington Elementary School, both a State Distinguished and a National Blue Ribbon School. |
Georgeanne White Chief of Staff to the Mayor
As Chief of Staff, Ms. White plans, organizes and oversees the day to day activities of the Mayor’s Office, including scheduling, special projects, intergovernmental and legislative affairs.
The Chief of Staff serves as a Senior Policy Advisor to the Mayor and works closely with the Deputy Mayor, City Manager and Department Heads in the development and implementation of City policy.
Prior to her position in the Mayor’s Office, Ms. White served as the Council Assistant to Fresno City Councilmember Garry Bredefeld. In that capacity, she assisted in the development of policy initiatives and responded to constituent concerns.
Ms. White is married to William M. White. They have twin daughters, Katie and Gracie. |
Kyle Loreto
Deputy Chief of Staff The Deputy Chief of Staff assists the Chief of Staff in the daily administrative duties of the Mayor’s office. This includes handling a significant amount of correspondence and communication, project administration, support for office operations, and other duties as assigned. The Deputy Chief of Staff also provides direct support to the Mayor for the preparation of presentations, speeches and reports. Additionally, he/she is the acting liaison for the Mayor on various boards, commissions, task forces and committees.
The Deputy Chief of Staff is responsible for the following:
- Coordination of beautification issues including graffiti, litter and highway beautification projects.
- Coordination and planning of the Central California Mayor’s Conference.
- Attend all Mayors’ Open Door Days, coordinate all follow-up and ensure that commitments are kept.
- Coordinate visits by delegations or dignitaries from our Sister City program.
- Handle a diverse array of special projects that the mayor initiates, or are done in partnership with other organizations.
