Video Policing
FY 2006-2007 Proposed Budget: $1,209,100
Video Policing will promote our City’s effort to provide “Smart Policing” within our neighborhoods. This project will begin in 2007 with the purchase of 75 cameras and supporting equipment. Targeted locations for camera installation include the Manchester Center, Roeding Park, the Tower District as well as the Downtown Fulton Mall. These cameras will allow the Department to cover a greater area with existing Police Officers as well as enhance response time.
