Stamping Out Graffiti

Stamping out Graffiti requires vigilance and innovation. As a result we have reorganized the Graffiti Team into the Police Department under the supervision of a Police Sergeant. The Police Sergeant will be the point of contact for the Sworn Police District Commanders, Police District Detectives, and Community Organizations as well as manage the ongoing administrative duties of the program. Also included are two Code Enforcement Specialists who will assist in identifying businesses and residences that are found to be out of compliance with Municipal Codes related to graffiti and blight. With the additional Specialists, the Business Citation team will be more effective in enforcing compliance with these Municipal Codes.
