Mayor’s Open Door Day

Requests for meetings during the Mayor’s “Open Door Days” have been discontinued. In order for our office to accommodate the high volume of current requests for Mayor’s Open Door Day appointments, new requests for Mayor’s Open Door Day appointments will no longer be accepted. With Mayor Autry’s term expiring in January 2009, we will only have enough vacancies to accommodate current requests.



Request a Proclamation, Letter or Certificate

Proclamations issued by the Mayor’s Office provide an opportunity for Mayor Autry to recognize exceptional events and people within the City of Fresno. They are issued for civic celebrations, organizations and individuals celebrating significant events or contributions to society.

To request a proclamation, please read the Ceremonial Document Guidelines below and then submit a Proclamation Request Form at least 30 days prior to issuance.

If a proclamation request does not meet the guidelines, other forms of recognition are available, as described in the Ceremonial Document Guidelines below.

To request a letter or certificate, please submit an Official Document Request Form at least 2 weeks prior to the date of issuance.
