Fresno ADA Advisory Council
What is the Fresno ADA Advisory Council?
Established in 1993 by Fresno City Council, the ADA Advisory Council is composed of disabled and/or concerned community members. It meets once a month at City Hall (see meeting schedule), and works with various City Departments toward removal of existing barriers limiting full participation by people with disabilities in community life.
It also works toward ensuring all current and future City projects, programs, and facilities are in compliance with the ADA. To fulfill this mission, a representative of the Public Works Department acts as a liaison between the ADA Council and the City of Fresno.
You can help to make A BARRIER FREE FRESNO by joining us once a month to share your concerns and by becoming a member of the Council. We need your expertise and experience!
