Parking Permits
Here you will find information regarding parking permits for City of Fresno employees, downtown employees and visitors, and Low Emission (hybrid) vehicle permits.
Downtown Parking

If you work downtown and are interested in purchasing monthly parking, the options available to you depend on where you work. If you work for an agency other than the City of Fresno, you can contact
Ace Parking at 264-6422 to purchase monthly parking at the City-owned lot or garage of your choice.

Specialty permits such as 10 hour on-street meter permits, alley or construction permits, and visitor permits must be approved and purchased through Parking Services at City Hall.
If you are a City of Fresno employee, where you park and how much you pay is determined by your work location, shift, permanent or temporary status, and your MOU. Inquire with your hiring point of contact or the Parking Services office at 621-PARK (7275) for more information.
Hybrid permits (Low Emission Vehicles)
The City of Fresno currently has a program that allows hybrid vehicles to park at meters and time zones for free with the purchase of a special $10.00 annual pass. Proof that your vehicle is a hybrid is required by presenting your vehicle registration in person the Parking office at City Hall.
In order to be classified as a hybrid vehicle, your vehicle must have a "Q" rating under the MP (motive power) category on your registration. This is how DMV determines your vehicle is a low emission vehicle. Without a "Q" rating you will be denied a permit.
The City Council evaluates the hybrid program annually. The Council may amend or recall hybrid parking privileges at their discretion. You can check with your councilmember for program updates.
