Distributing Water to Our Customers


Water Distribution Construction and Maintenance is responsible for the construction and maintenance of water lines in the Fresno Metropolitan area and some unincorporated Fresno County areas. Distribution is also responsible for water services, fire hydrants and main line valves. Water Meter and Cross Connection Control are two additional programs under the Distribution section.

Water Meter Program
Includes installation and maintenance of water meters.
 
Cross Connection Control Program
Includes installation and Maintenance of backflow devices.

Fire Hydrants
Permits for fire hydrant use, fire hydrant examples, and installation.
 
Distribution Data
Water Facilities Statistical Summary
Includes: Water System Inventory, Type Distribution of Water Services, Age, Size and Material of Distribution of Water Transmission System.
