Kids often turn on the tap and let water run without realizing the consequences. Fresh water is a small percent of all water on earth and the amount of clean, fresh water available is declining. Without training, kids cannot relate to the reason to conserve, however, teaching kids at an early age to conserve water will set good habits that can last a lifetime.
Kids’ Camp is a fun and free way for 8 and 9 year olds to learn about the water cycle and discover neat new ways to save water here in Fresno. Sign ups generally begin May 1st of each year and the half-day camp is held in early to mid-June when school is out. Kids’
