Solid Waste Gives Back! - The 2008 Charity Drive


Cornerstone Church - Backpack Project
This year, employees donated over 237 tubes of paste and 371 toothbrushes, a total of 608! The items were included in backpacks distributed to students in low-income schools throughout the City of Fresno. Employees bundled a toothbrush and a tube of toothpaste with Christmas ribbon before delivering them to Cornerstone.





 







     
Community Food Bank
"Fill an Empty Table for a hungry  Family". Solid Waste employees also donated enough food items to fill two barrels for the Community Food Bank.
