Police Services & Special Units
Special Units provide support to the Fresno Police Department in specific areas of law enforcement expertise, specialized services, and equipment. Police Services and Special Units maintain programs and initiatives that are necessary outside normal day-to-day operations. The Units include: SWAT, the K-9 Unit, bomb disposal (EOD), Skywatch, District Crime Suppression Teams, Records, Communications, Information Services, and the Mounted Patrol.
