INCREASE IN RESIDENTIAL BURGLARIES: Burglars are smashing windows and forcing doors open

Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer announces an increase in residential burglaries in the area of Melody Park located at Fowler and Shields.
Burglars are entering homes by smashing windows and forcing doors open.
Five residential burglaries have been reported over the last month. Burglars took various items from the homes.
Detectives believe juveniles living in the area to be responsible for the thefts.
Residents are asked to contact Detective Kirkorian at 621-6336 with any information concerning these thefts. Callers may also contact Crime Stoppers at 621-STOP (7867) where they can receive up to a $1000 reward for any information leading to an arrest.
