09/22/2008

Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer along with Big Fresno Fair CEO John Alkire is calling a press conference to announce a major donation to the Fresno Police Department and offer Fairgoers a chance to make Police Department history.

A generous donation from The Big Fresno Fair to the Fresno Police Department’s Mounted Patrol Unit means a new horse for the department.

The Fresno Police Department would like to honor The Big Fresno Fair’s generous donation by giving fairgoers the chance to name the newest member of the Mounted Patrol.

A press conference is scheduled for TODAY, September 22, 2008 at 11:30 A.M. at The Big Fresno Fair’s Table Mountain Rancheria Park, in front of Fort Fresno. At the press conference, media members will be able to meet the new horse and get details on the contest that will result in naming the Fresno Police Department’s newest member.
