9th ANNUAL SENIOR CITIZENS AWARDS BANQUET: Senior Citizens Receive Honors for Service in the Community

Police Chief Jerry Dyer and Councilman Mike Dages would like to announce an event that honors outstanding senior citizens.

The Fresno Police Department’s Southeast Policing District and Neighborhood Watch Association will host the 9th Annual Senior Citizens Awards Banquet.

Officers will serve dinner to over 200 Fresno residents living at the Senior Citizen Village. Ten year volunteer, Emma Bishop, will be honored and receive an award for her excellent work and service to the community.

The banquet will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2008 beginning at 5:00 P.M. at the Senior Citizen Village located at 1917 S. Chestnut Avenue. Chief Dyer and Councilman Dages will attend.
