Three Arrests, Two Pending for Murder/Attempt Murder Kidnap Case

Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer is calling a press conference THIS MORNING to update the media on a shooting which has turned into a homicide investigation and a related kidnapping and attempted murder case.
The original shooting incident took place Sunday, June 16 at approximately 1:00 am on the 100 block of N. Calaveras in Central Fresno. The victim is a 21-year-old African American male.
A retaliatory kidnapping and attempted murder followed shortly after the original shooting.
The press conference will take place this morning at 10:30 am in the City Hall Annex Main Training Room. The room will be set up to accommodate stations wishing to carry the press conference live.
No case information will be released prior to the press conference.
