Mayor Autry Discusses Governor's CalGRIP

Who: Fresno Mayor Alan Autry along with Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer are announcing a press conference THIS AFTERNOON to discuss the Governor's Gang Reduction, Intervention, and Prevention Program (CalGRIP).
What: CalGRIP is a state-wide initiative led by Governor Schwarzenegger, designed to combat gang violence. Fresno is one of the major cities that will be receiving support from CalGRIP to combat local gang violence.
The Mayor's Gang Prevention Initiative and the Fresno Police Department's Operation Bulldog are local programs that will play key roles in CalGRIP.
