Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer, Council member Brian Calhoun, and Chamber of Commerce President Al Smith are proud to announce an event designed to rid Fresno’s busiest street of graffiti.

“Blackstone Blitz” will team up members of the Fresno Police Department’s Graffiti Bureau and volunteers from the Zimmerman Boys and Girls Club with the goal of wiping out graffiti along Blackstone Avenue.

The Graffiti Bureau will offer its graffiti abatement truck and ladders to help building owners paint over hard-to-reach graffiti.

The event begins at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, April 28 with a demonstration of the graffiti abatement truck at 2901 N Blackstone Avenue. Chief Dyer, along with Council member Calhoun and Chamber President Al Smith will be available for interviews.
