| Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer is pleased to announce that on Tuesday, may 15, 2007 at 7:00 pm, graduation ceremonies for the Hispanic Residents' Academy Class 14 will take place at 2326 Fresno Street, 2nd Floor Training Room. Twenty-eight students will receive a "Certificate of Completion" from Deputy Chief Robert Nevarez. | The Fresno Police Department's Traffic Enforcement Bureau will conduct a DUI checkpoint and saturation patrol on May 12, 2007 in the Central District of the City, beginning at 6:00 pm. | Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer, Council member Brian Calhoun, and Chamber of Commerce President Al Smith are proud to announce an event designed to rid Fresno’s busiest street of graffiti. “Blackstone Blitz” will team up members of the Fresno Police Department’s Graffiti Bureau and volunteers from the Zimmerman Boys and Girls Club with the goal of wiping out graffiti along Blackstone Avenue.
